Quite possibly the Buffalo Sabres have turned the corner. Since the first of the year they've taken seven of a possible eight points against some good hockey teams including Tuesday night's 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

In by far the most entertaining home game of the season, the Buffalo Sabres ended a six-game losing streak by knocking off the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 in a shoot out.
