A couple weeks ago, my wife Brandi and I went on a cruise to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. One of the excursions was an afternoon snorkeling at a place they call Turtle Cove just off from St. Thomas. It was a whole lot of fun!

My son decided a few years ago that he wanted to become a kung-fu master. We’ve always wanted our kids to try out new things, so we decided to let him take a shot at karate. I had no idea then what he was getting me into!

It’s Veteran’s Day, and we here at WYRK would like to thank everyone who has served and is currently serving in our United States Military. I would like to take a couple seconds to stop and say thank you to one veteran in particular. He’s my favorite veteran. He’s my dad.

When I was a kid, summertime meant being out of school, ice cream, freeze pops and all kinds of fun stuff. Now I get to enjoy those things with my own kids, but mostly it means just having to go to work when it's warm out.
