Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is a nationwide awareness walk to bring an end to sexual assault, rape and domestic violence.  It's also there to help raise much-needed funds for Crisis Services, which is right here in Western New York. I've mentioned that I'm doing the walk and that I'm looking for some brave men to walk with me.

We are less than a month away from Walk A Mile In Her Shoes and it's time to get your game feet on.  Brett Alan is getting ready!

I was born and raised in Springville. I lived there for about 25 years and never knew the significance behind the term "Fiddler's Green." It's in the name of one of the town's nursing homes, a park and now a bluegrass festival that is coming on August 3.

If you know me, you know that I love dogs. They truly can be man's (and woman's) best friend. So I hope that you can help out this worthy cause for The Silver Lining for Pit Bulls Organization. They are an all-breed rescue foundation and have acquired quite a bit of veterinary expenses for their fosters...and they need your help!
