Football is not the only thing happening this weekend! There are tons of concerts, festivals, and more noteworthy events happening around Western New York.

I'll admit it.  My family loves karaoke.  Some of my favorite nights involved my family out singing together.  I've heard some terrible karaoke in my day.  But to be fair, I've also heard some incredible singers that really fly under the radar.  This couple does not fit in that category.

It's not quite Lip Sync Battle, but singing along to the radio in the car is an art unto itself. Or, as we see in this video, it's not an art at all.

Karaoke can bring out the best in some people but more often than not, the worst.  So most people naturally cringe when someone says, "lets go sing karaoke!"  It's that moment though when someone puts a microphone up to their face and you hear angels that keeps you coming back!

You may have heard about Blake Shelton and how after a few drinks, you can't keep him off the karaoke machine. It's true! I've seen it myself. But that's another story. Let's just say he loves him some karaoke! I bet he loves it even more now that he was joined by this mystery guest.

Most people are scared of karaoke because they don't think they're any good at singing. They're probably right.

I'm a fan of karaoke.  There...I said it.  It's not always good.  But it's almost always a good time.  Unless of course, you have to walk through snakes and scorpions while you're singing it.  Check out the worst idea to ever come to cable television - Killer Karaoke!

It's a worldwide guilty pleasure. It's somewhat embarrassing, yet fun. It's empowering, yet blush inducing, if you flop.

I've seen some terrible karaoke in my day.  Heck, I've even contributed to some terrible karaoke.  But without a doubt, this guy takes the cake on the worst version of Carrie Underwood's song, "Before He Cheats"

Ok...so you wait all night for the ball to drop and when it finally does, they start playing some song that NO ONE at your party knows the words to.  You try to chime in, "Should Old acquantance be forgot and yada yada yada...."  I'm going to make it easy for you.  Play this at your party and just follow the lyrics as they light up!

Back on August 12th Cassandra Difruscio won the WYRK Karaoke competition and earned the right to move on to the national contest where she would compete for the chance to open for Rascal Flatts. Well it is now time for people to vote for the winner and we want Cassandra to take home the prize.
