Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz wants to ban plastic grocery bags in Erie County. Stating he wanted "everyday to be Earth day". In addition to just suggesting the ban he is suggesting a study that according to the Buffalo News would cost
"between $50,000 and $70,000 and could take eight to 10 months to complete...
Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz was incredibly optimistic that he would be able to negotiate a new long term lease with the Buffalo Bills before training camp started. Training camp has since come and gone. They haven't been able to land a long term deal but were able to get a one year extension done. However, he met with reporters today to explain why.
It's been brought up again. Should The Bills make a new home in downtown Buffalo or should they plan on setting up camp in Orchard Park again for a couple years? There are pro's and con's to both sides and I'm sure part of me says that I'm selfish for saying it, but I hope they DON'T move.
