Thanks to Winter Storm Gerri, every area of Western New York has been visited by that one thing we're famously known for, we knew days in advance was coming, but yet it always seems like we're not prepared for.
Lake Effect Snow.
The snowstorm has hit Western New York hard, and with many areas of the region still under a travel ban, we're now thinking about clean-up and recovery...
The age old question 'where are the plows' arises nearly every time a street doesn't get cleared of snow when we think it should; but to answer starts with who's responsible?
The City of Buffalo is holding a public hearing for your to share concerns, ideas, or any feedback you may have about the city's snow removal performance.
I LOVE this picture...man. Hats off to the plow operators. I have to say that after a year of two of plowing I can relate to the hard work, the hours, the stress and the money that goes into keeping driveways, parking lots and roads clear. It can be a thankless job and often plow operators are the first to blame when the snow piles up.
