Taylor Swift will receive the inaugural Icon Award at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards.

Swift is one of the best-selling music artists of all time. From her countless awards to her legion of Swifties, Swift is a force in the music industry. She has sold more than 50 million albums, sold out her entire Reputation Stadium Tour, and is one of the biggest social media influencers of our time. In recognition of her contributions and iconic pop-culture status, she will be awarded the first-ever Icon Award at the Teen Choice Awards this year.

The two-hour show will air live from Hermosa Beach, Calif. Sunday, Aug. 11 at 8 PM ET on Fox. Swift is reported to be attending the awards show to accept her honor. This year's decade award will be presented to the Jonas Brothers, as previously announced.

Swift is gearing up to release her seventh studio album, Lover, on Aug. 23. Swift has previously released songs off the album including, "Me!" featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco, "You Need to Calm Down," and "Archer."

Lover will have four Target exclusive deluxe editions of the album. Each deluxe edition will feature more than 100 unique pages from Swift's diaries over the years, each edition having different pages of the diary. The deluxe editions will also feature two audio tracks of Swift creating two of the songs on the album.

The new album is her biggest yet, with 18 tracks landing on the album. No other collaborations or features on the album have been announced yet; Urie's collab being the only revealed thus far.
