This Cash Deposit Coming From New York State Soon!

Need cash for shopping? You are in luck! There is a deadline that is coming up and New York State is reminding you not to miss it.

The school year will be here soon and with it is the annual school tax bills. All across New York State, property owners will be paying their taxes this fall. However, there is a rebate that is being offered and the opportunity to have it directly deposited in to your account.

There is plenty of talk online about the STAR rebate checks. But there is action required and you need to move quickly.

In some portions of New York State, you are asked to sign up for direct deposit soon!

According to reports, the New York State Tax Department is urging residents who get STAR credit to enroll in direct deposit. Eligible homeowners who live in the Rensselaer, Schenectady and Troy districts should enroll by August 2nd to make sure they get receive their credit on-time.

New York State offers a great website that answers many common questions regarding the STAR program. "As a New York State homeowner, you can now view and update your property tax benefit registrations and enroll in direct deposit for your STAR credit. Simply log into your Tax Department Individual Online Services account and visit the new Homeowner Benefit Portal".

The summer is flying by and the tax bills will be here before we know it. Be prepared for the bill and take advantage of the rebates!! Some people will be getting quite a bit of cash directly deposited in their account.
