Three Things To Make Your Weekend Better

I was listening to some Mark Chesnutt music last night at happy hour and one of his songs made a lot of sense. There are three things anyone needs to make their weekend better.

Beer

Is there anything more refreshing than an ice cold beer on a hot day or after a long day of yard work? Plus, having beer on hand is always great because it never fails that the neighbor or friend is gonna swing by when you least expect it and you have to be prepared.

Bait

This is a must when the weather is this good. Keep some bait in a cooler in your truck. You never know when you are going to pass a great spot or get invited to a party that has a pond or lake and you need to be ready to cast a line! Plus, there is nothing worse than when the kids are fishing and they are out of bait. Tears are no fun on the weekend.

Ammo

I love guns. Shooting is a great sport and on a hot summer afternoon, I like to take out some of my favorite guns and do some target practicing. If you are ever somewhere that has a sale on ammo, pick some up. How many times has it happened when your buddies ask you to shoot with them on a Sunday and you are out of ammo and no stores are open? I try to never let that happen.
