Tim Hortons Is NOT Happy After Customer Found Hack
Tim Hortons is not thrilled after a customer found a hack and told other people about it.
The popular contest, Roll Up The Rim, is returning to stores on Monday, February 24 and the contest, since the COVID pandemic, has changed. Customers used to be able to roll up the actual rim of their coffee and find a prize such as a free coffee, a donut, TV, gift cards or a vacation. Then once the COVID pandemic hit, they changed the policy and the contest is now held on to the Tim Hortons app.
EXCEPT FOR 2025 THERE IS AN EXCEPTION
Now, some of the stores will be bringing back the physical roll up the rim on the coffee cups and Tim Hortons fans are excited about the change to get one of the original contesting cups. The contest starts this coming Monday.
Tim Hortons was not happy at first with this guy.
A professor found that 3:17 in the morning was the best chance for you to win a prize for the contest on the app. Somehow he figured out the game. In fact, he found that the last day of the contest was the best day to play, as well. He won 94 out of 96 'roll ups'. He did this in 2020, but has done it ever year since as well.
They were a bit confused and maybe concerned that I’d done something actually against the rules or an actual hack. Once we had a conversation about what was actually happening, they seemed like pretty fine with it", according to Global News.
He used statistical analysis to break down the game again and figured out the game and the best odds all over again.
