Two Bald Eagles Spotted Perching In WNY [PHOTO]
I have yet to see a bald eagle in person, and while they're still fairly rare to see in person (compared to other birds), a few lucky people have seen them here in Western New York over the past months and years.
According to WIVB, a viewer named Amanda took this amazing shot of two bald eagles perching on a tree branch in Lakeview.
Check it out:
A few months ago, two bald eagles were captured on Grand Island.
Bald eagles seem to be flourishing more nowadays, compared to years ago when they were prominently on the endangered species list and all but disappeared in the United States.
Bald eagles are still protected under the Bald and Gold Eagle Protection Act and Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
They're still one of the coolest animals around and most definitely one you should be taking a photo of when you see one.
