Buffalo, New York and its surrounding areas are known to have some of the most gorgeous, eye-opening architecture in the United States. Structures like the innovative Martin House in Delaware Park (built by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright), the stunning transparent AKG Art Museum, and the crown jewel of art deco, Buffalo’s own city hall, bring tourists from all over the world to marvel in awe at their stunning beauty.

A recent post on Reddit asked local users which buildings they hate, and the answers clearly didn’t hold back.

To new apartment buildings that don’t fit in with downtown Buffalo’s historic vibe, to disasters built in the 1970’s that really need an update, to notorious bright orange buildings that residents absolutely can’t stand-- Western New York has its fair share of structures that have people who live here asking, “what the heck were they thinking?”

That being said, we really don’t think all of these buildings are as much of a disaster as Reddit users made them out to be, but we get that if we had to look at some of these buildings every single day on our commute, we’d probably get sick of them too.
