The fire happened at 745 Main Street in Buffalo at the DC Theatricks building late Wednesday morning.

According to one person who was in the building, one of the floors fell while firefighters were in the building.

"I was one of the first people out here and for a few seconds it was just smoke, Then there was a burst of flames and you could hear the floor fall and the firefighters started yell about how the floor it fell." - " Jason Colston

There was dramatic footage of the fire as Buffalo Fire Department-Helmets & Hose Wagons facebook page was covering it live.

Around noon, there was an update from an official who says that there is still one firefighter who is unaccounted for.

Unfortunately, there isn't much more information at this time.

Officials are asking people who are traveling downtown to avoid the 700 block of Main Street as they continue to fight the fire and search for the last firefighter.

The flames and smoke were visible in our Townsquare Media studios just a couple blocks away.  You could see how many vehicles had been called in to fight the fire.

The building is the home of DC Theatricks, a company that stores and rents costumes for theatres in Western New York.  They're also known to supply mascot costumes for sports teams in the area.

We will have additional posts on this fire as more information becomes known.
