Veterans Treated At The Buffalo VA Hospital May Be At Risk

The VA confirmed yesterday that veterans who had colonoscopies may have been treated with a scope that was not properly cleaned. The employee who may have put patients at risk for viruses like hepatitis and HIV as been fired but not before potentially infecting 526 veterans. According to MetroSource, The Buffalo VA is notifying the veterans who were treated and is offering free screenings.
