Is The Waffle House Moving To Hamburg, New York?

There is currently a project underway in Hamburg, along South Park Avenue, that has grabbed the attention of residents from Eden to Orchard Park! A new Starbucks with a drive-thru is being built and it is going to be a very busy place once it opens. I love coffee and there are already plenty of options, including a few Starbucks in and around the Village of Hamburg. Maybe it is time to get more creative and have more options?

While there are currently NO plans to bring Waffle House to Western New York, it would be great to have the popular chain somewhere close to Buffalo. The closest Waffle Houses to Buffalo are in Ohio and Pennsylvania. There was recently a push to bring it to Western New York by Bills player, Isaiah McKenzie. But no official plans yet.

While I enjoy a good chain restaurant every now and again, I prefer to take our family to the great diners that Hamburg has. There is ZJ's, Savory, Uncle Joe's, Pegasus and many other locally owned places that offer a great breakfast menu and brunch!

The current project at the former Friendly's site seems to be moving forward and so far work is being done on the foundation.
