WATCH: Awkward Moment With Buffalo Bills Head Coach During Press Conference
Big, big win for the Buffalo Bills yesterday in Orchard Park over the Texans. The Buffalo Bills defense showed up in a big way and for the second time this year had another shutout. The Bills had a great game and afterwards, head coach Sean McDermott held his press conference for reporters.
Now, everyone on social media could not stop talking about McDermott's outfit. I did not really notice it or spend too much time on it, but others on Twitter were pointing out that he was dressing like a "kid" or "skateboarder". One person on Twitter even wrote: "an old guy trying to be young".
LOL He is only 47 years old.
All the comments caught my eye so I watched the press conference and it wasn't his outfit that I really noticed, as much as an awkward moment that occurred during the questions. Sean was "asked" a question from a reporter (we do not know who it was) and McDermott seemed to be caught off guard kind of.
REPORTER: coach you got guys buying into the process, you're 3 and 1 and 1 headed into Kansas City Next week.
(pause)
REPORTER: That's my question. Headed into Kansas City next week.
Then coach pauses for a seriously long time and it gets awkward.
COACH: About Kansas City? You're going to have to give me more to answer there. I'm not sure what you're asking.
To defend the reporter a little bit, is not always easy in a room like that. The situation, the pressure. But, McDermott handled it the best he could but, everyone in the room was cringing.
