A few weeks ago the Buffalo Sabres abruptly changed the game time for puck drop for the game versus the Boston Bruins tonight. The game was originally at 7 PM and here is why we think it changed.

The Buffalo Sabres vs. Boston Bruins game scheduled for March 25 will now begin at 7:30 p.m.

Why is the Buffalo Sabres game being moved a little bit on March 25?

We do not know for certain why, but that is opening day for Major League Baseball and the first game is the New York Yankees vs. San Francisco Giants at 5:05 PM, which would now give them time to get to the Sabres game.

The Buffalo Sabres are likely changing the time of the game to accomodate opening day in baseball? The Sabres game time change announcement came shortly after the Major League Baseball schedule was released.
