10,000 Tickets Sold for Buffalo Sabres Watch Party
The Buffalo Sabres have sold about 10,000 tickets to the watch party coming up on Saturday for game #6 that will happen in Montreal. And it is only 5 bucks!
I was talking to one of the reps from the Buffalo Sabres yesterday and they said that they sold an astounding amount of tickets for the watch party. You MUST have a ticket to come to the watch party. The 5 dollars will go to the Buffalo Sabres Foundation. Though, it will be interesting to see how the ticket sales go now that the Sabres lost on Thursday night pretty bad. Had they won, you could assume more fans would be interested in going to see if the Sabres could clinch the series. Now, they will face an uphill battle and are in a do-or-die situation.
The watch party will be the first at the Key Bank Center and fans are being invited down by the Sabres organization to go watch game #6 at the Key Bank Center while the Sabres are away in Montreal. You have to buy your $5 ticket ahead of time. If you park inside of the Key Bank Center ramp, it is free for everyone--of course, until the ramp fills up.
- Doors open up at 7
- Puck Drop is at 8
It is going to be very kid friendly.
Sabretooth will be there, you will see Duffer and Marty beforehand and there will be tons of freebie giveaways. On the Buffalo Sabres website:
Discounted concessions will be available for purchase. There will also be family friendly concourse activities including airbrush tattoos, face painting, sign making, bracelet making, and photo opportunities.
The Buffalo Sabres were catching a lot of flack because there were no watch parties for fans that were kid friendly. The Sabres had announced previously for the Boston series and the first two games of round #2 that the Sabres would have their watch parties at the casino.
