Sabres Giving Away Classroom Party to Teachers

The Buffalo Sabres are doing something real fun ahead of their first playoff game in 15 years in Western New York. Parents, pass this along to your kids' teacher because the Buffalo sabers are looking to hook up one classroom with a Buffalo Sabres party.

Teachers, you could be the most popular teacher in the building if you win the Spirit Day Contest from the Buffalo Sabres.

You will win a Sabres party with Sabretooth and some giveaways for the classroom.

What do you have to do to win the Buffalo Sabres contest?

Show your Sabres spirit ahead of the playoff run that begins this weekend. On the website, the Buffalo Sabres have some examples listed as to what they are kind of looking for, but these are certainly just suggestions:

• Holding a Sabres-themed assembly or class party
• "LET'S GO BUFFALO" chant video
• Sabres-themed outfit day

The Buffalo Sabres playoff tickets are going on sale and you can imagine it's going to be a bloodbath for tickets to go to one of the games. All four potential home games are going to be on sale starting at 10:00 a.m. this morning and if the Sabers do not make it to one of the games then you'll be refunded the money.

They are also doing the "Block Party" which consists of a party in the plaza which they used to do back in the last playoff run and in addition, they are doing some viewing screens that will be at Canalside as well well hence the "Block Party".
