Western New York Company Celebrates 100th Anniversary

2022 is a big year for one Western New York business.

Buffalo is known for a lot of things including being the home to some amazing foods. This year one local company is celebrating making Western New Yorkers and people around the world's food taste even better.

Heintz & Weber Co, Inc. the makers of the famous Weber's Mustard is celebrating 100 years of being in business.

It was back in 1922 that Heintz & Weber Co., Inc. opened their first store at the Broadway Market. The company has moved to several other locations in Western New York and has become the #1 selling mustard in Western New York and one of the top-selling mustard brands in the country.

To celebrate their 100th anniversary Weber's is having some fun with their mustard jars. They have issued a special Weber’s Mustard’s Centennial Anniversary label and have had the owners sign 100 bottles of them and shipped them all across Western New York.

Since releasing its famous horseradish mustard in 1922, the company has added several more products to its line-up. They now offer relish, green olives, Texan sandwich sauce.

Weber's joins some other amazing Western New York companies that have been in the area for over 100 years. Some of those companies include Schwabl's Restaurant, M&T Bank, Higgins Erectors and Haulers, Pierce & Stevens,  and Schuele Paint.

So make 2022 the year you slather on plenty of Weber's mustard on your next sandwich and enjoy 100 years of Buffalo with each bite.
