A new proposal has been made to NHL players by the NHL that would see a 50-50 split of hockey related revenue and no rollbacks in salary. Commissioner Gary Bettman says an 82 game season is still a possibility if players agree before November 2nd.  Progress is being made, but many players are finding work in other hockey leagues during the NHL lockout.  It just so happens that Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers has become the 5th guy on the team to leave for other work.  Myers will suit up for Austria's Klagenfurter AC.

Thomas Vanek is also playing in Austria, in the same league as Myers, but on a team called Graz.

Forward Tyler Ennis & defensemen Andrej Sekera and Christian Ehrhoff are all playing in Europe as well!
