The National Weather Service keeps tabs on official snowfall during the winter months and they also have the official word on the date of the first inch of snow in Buffalo (the Buffalo Niagara International Airport). We don't know when the first inch will come but we have a good hunch that it will happen in November or December. So we are going to give you the opportunity to have a day to yourself! If the first inch of snow falls on your day, you win a brand new snowblower from Lakeshore Hardware and Tool Rental!

For the next two weeks (10/17 -10/28) Clay, Dale and Liz will be assigning dates to listeners two times a morning (5:30-9am)! Much like our NASCAR Poll Position contest, when you hear the sounder that will be your cue to call in. We will take about three people each time the sounders goes and randomly assign them a date in November or December until all the days are filled. If you are lucky enough to get assigned date make sure you remember it because that's the day you will be hoping for the first snow! When The National Weather Service records the first inch of snow at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, the person who has that date will win this sweet Ariens Deluxe 28 Snowblower!
