New York Food Festival Looking To Be The Best In The Country

There is a food festival held in New York each year that is looking to be recognized as the best in the country.  You can help.

Buffalo is crazy about wings.  That's what they're called.  In Buffalo, they're just wings.  They're not chicken wings.  They're not Buffalo wings there.  They're simply wings.  There's even a festival that they hold every year where you can get just about every type of wing on earth.  It's called the National Buffalo Wing Festival for everyone else in the country.  In Buffalo they call it wing fest.

In the 22 years that they've held it, they've had over 1.2 million attendees that have eaten approximately 5.7 million wings weighing more than 215 tons. They have celebrity appearances, wing eating competitions, and more.  It really is a delicious, incredibly fun event.

Now, they're looking for the national recognition that they deserve.  They've been nominated by USA Today through a panel of national food and travel writers as one of the top 10 specialty food festivals in the country.  Drew Cerza, also known as "The Wing King" is the founder of the festival.  He's hoping to push it up to the #1 spot to help give the recognition for all of the community partners who help to put the event on.  It's currently sitting in the #2 spot and with your vote, could jump up to be the #1 Food Festival in the country.
