The Western New York Farm Show is back for another exciting weekend at The Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg.

The Western New York Farm Show strives to educate farmers from around the region about the latest cutting-edge agricultural products and technology. Vendors include feed, seed, and equipment dealers, farm service providers, and non-for-profits that specialize in agriculture education, promotion, and advancement. Industry professionals will lead seminars daily covering a variety of topics.

New this year is a confined space and manure pit rescue simulator. The simulator video below gives you an idea of what to expect.

SPECIAL TRAINING HOURS FOR YOU

The WNY Farm Show is partnering with NYCAMH and NECAS to offer confined space-manure pit rescue training after hours at the show on Thursday and Friday evenings starting at 6:00 PM (February 2nd and 3rd). First responders interested in registering for this training must contact NYCAMH Agricultural Safety Specialist Jim Carrabba at 800-343-7527 x2216, or e-mail at jcarrabba@nycamh.com. The training sessions are limited to 30 participants. Each session is 4 hours long and consists of an hour of classroom style presentation and 3 hours of hand-on training with the unit. There is no cost to attend the training.

Get ready for some competition as the Hay Bale Throwing Contest is back again this year.

The WNY Farm Show will be held inside two heated buildings on the Fairgrounds. Show times are: Thursday, February 2, 10:00am-4:00pm; Friday, February 3, 10:00am-6:00pm; Saturday, February 4, 9:00am-3:00pm.
