WNY High School Girl Goes On Ellen

"It worked!", Courtney Wagner said about her community backing her and helping catch Ellen's eye to get her to see her favorite comedian live in person using #GetCourtneyToEllen.

Courtney Wagner has stage four brain cancer and is a huge Ellen fan. She was at the show, but had no idea she was going to be ON the show, which aired Wednesday. She's been fighting brain cancer for 3½ years and the community within Rochester has been rallying behind her trying to help her get to the show using social media to get Ellen's attention.

Courtney's spirit inspired Ellen. She wanted to do something incredible for her, and that's just what she did!
