The Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga is causing some controversy and national attention for the thought that some stores may be fined if they don't open on Thanksgiving Day.

this year, the Galleria will be open 6 hours earlier than the usual midnight open. 6 PM the doors will fly open and apparently, all the stores within the mall got a mandatory notice:

We caution you to open at 6 pm when the rest of the mall opens.”
