
WWII Warplane Flyover Coming To The Southern Tier
That's right, another military plane flyover is happening to honor first responders and healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to WKBW, "Operation Thanks From Above" will happen Saturday, June 6th over the southern tier, including areas like Jamestown, Olean and Wellsville.
The flyover will be organized by the National Warplane Museum and feature a "Whiskey 7" a Douglas C-47 WWII airplane, and "Mad Max" a P-51 Mustang.
The flight will start at 9:30 a.m. over Geneseo, but the flyover map has not yet been released.
