With a final attendance of 1,198,789, the 2018 figure was a slight increase over last year's attendance, but came well short of the all-time attendance record set in 2014; 1,220,101.

Fair manager and CEO Jessica Underberg said “new entertainment including the “Cyrk Live!” circus under the big top tent, interactive exhibits such as the I-HUB focusing around STEM academics, a great grandstand line up and WNY’s best food, animals and rides, created the perfect atmosphere for a GREAT fair.”

Fireworks at the end of each night returned this year and Sunday night's fireworks show on the final night of the Fair was spectacular and was worth staying to see.

If you're planning ahead, the 180th Erie County Fair is set for Aug. 7th thru 19th, 2019.
