You be the judge. Is this OK for this guy to be fired for this?

Tony Rohr, who's been with his Pizza Hut company for over 10 years has been 'fired' from his job as general manager of a Pizza Hut outlet because the company decided to be open on Thanksgiving this year. The store owned by the franchise by Franchise Management Investors US, has typically been closed on Thanksgiving to give employees time off to spend with loves ones. This year he says all they care about it their money. What do you think? Rohr says:

I am not quitting. I do not resign however I accept that the refusal to comply with this greedy, immoral request means the end of my tenure with this company. I hope you realize that it's the people at the bottom of the totem pole that make your life possible."
