Dale Mussen

I've been doing this radio thing for over 35 years now. I've been a part of the Breakfast Club morning show since 1986. Since I was a kid, I've loved to read. I read the newspaper each day nearly cover to cover – usually not the classifieds though. I get a lot of ideas for my Daily Data segment just by reading the paper. I’m a lifelong Bills and Sabres fan, and I've been a regular in the press box of both teams since 1979 -- but I'm still waiting for one of them to win a championship! Four cracks at it for the Bills and two for the Sabres, and they came up short. I was born and raised in the Buffalo area. I went to school at Niagara University, and since Clay went to Canisius, we get to raz each other twice each year when the Eagles and Griffs meet to play basketball. I have a large collection of records. I'm one of the few that still has the old vinyl, including a lot of old 45s in their original sleeves. Some kids probably have no idea what I'm talking about at this point. My favorite things to do in my spare time are bike riding and fixing things around the house, and each fall, I officiate high school football games.

How They Elect The New Pope

Now that Pope Benedict has resigned, the 115 cardinals under the age of 80 will meet to vote on a new Pope. Once they’re all in Rome, they can’t leave until the final decision is made and they can’t talk to anyone outside of the conclave. And that includes social media. A ruling by Pope John Paul II in 1996 called for the Sistine Chapel to be checked for any hidden cameras or microphones before balloting begins.

For the first time this season the Sabres are on a three-game winning streak.  Have they turned things around?  It's way too early to tell just yet, but they looked pretty impressive against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday at First Niagara Center.
