Liz Mantel

Born in Texas, raised in Ohio! I was literally born into country music and love everything about it. From the songs to the loyal fans...there is no other genre like it! I'm a sports junkie and am obsessed with U.S. soccer (and soccer in general). I'm very excited to be able to cheer on the WNY Flash at Sahlen's Stadium instead of having to watch on YouTube! People often think I sound like Ellen, and I always take that as a compliment because I love comedy and have always looked up to one of the best comedians of all time.

Jimmy Wayne Calls The Breakfast Club To Talk About His Eye-Opening Book ‘Walk To Beautiful’ [AUDIO/LINKS]

You may know the name Jimmy Wayne from some of his hit songs, "Stay Gone", "Do You Believe Me Now", "I Love You This Much" and "Paper Angels". However, what you'll remember him by is the work he is doing for today's homeless youth. In Jimmy's new book "Walk To Beautiful" you will read about his horrifying childhood in and out of the system and the people who helped him overcome a life you wouldn't believe is true.  While some of the stories are hard to read this is a book you won't put down. Jimmy's faith and dedication to bring awareness of the thousands of kids who become homeless when they age out of the foster care system is second to none. Walk with him through his life and his decision to stop what he was doing at the height of his music career to walk across the country in his "Project Meet Me Halfway". If you're not touched by this book... I have no words.

Jimmy called in to The Breakfast Club to talk about his new book and what he hopes to accomplish with publishing it!
