I have always said that the best places to have a drink are the "mom and pop" bars. I am talking about the neighborhood gin mills which seem to be disappearing from the Western New York landscape. Back in the early 1900's, Buffalo was home to probably thousands of these small taverns where the drinks were cheap and the people were friendly.
