How Much Do Groceries Cost Per Month?
A good rule of thumb is to set aside 10% of your income for groceries and other food-related costs, which means if you take home about $5,000, WFLA (a TV News station in Tampa) suggests that you save about $500 for food.
However, it’s not necessarily a “golden rule” that you can undoubtedly live by, because you have to consider other factors as well, including family size and the living expenses in your particular area.
As a country on average, the average household will spend $348.34 per month on groceries alone . Since Buffalo, New York is nearly 2% more expensive than the national average, you can expect to spend a little more here.
But if you had free sandwiches for the rest of your life, you wouldn’t have to worry about buying groceries again…right?
Here’s How You Can Win Free Sandwiches
Last month, Subway unveiled the “Name Change Challenge” in efforts to find the company’s biggest fan, but they didn’t expect to have so many people in their fan club.
In a press release, Subway shared that nearly 10,000 sandwich loves attempted to change their names to “Subway” within 96 hours of the announcement.
It is wild to think that close to 10,000 people are willing and ready to legally change their name to Subway to receive a lifetime of sandwiches.
When Will Subway Pick A Winner?
One winner will be selected later this month, according to the press release.
On top of the Subway sandwiches, the winner will also receive money to reimburse legal and processing costs to complete the name change process.
