If you are driving through Buffalo, New York this weekend and you think that you saw Guy Fieri, well you probably did!

And if you continue driving and by the time you get across town, you see another Guy Fieri….or two….or eight….then you probably did!

A swarm of Guy Fieri look-alikes are taking Western New York by storm this weekend, and it’s all for a good cause. 

Who Is Guy Fieri?

Most people already know of this legend, but if you don’t know who he is and you can only recognize the name, we got you. 

Guy Fieri is an American restaurateur, author, and an Emmy Award winning television presenter. Back in 2006, Fieri won Food Network’s “Next Food Network Star” and was awarded with his own television series, “Guy’s Big Bite.” Now, he has become known across the country as the host of “Diners, Drive Ins, & Dives.” 

Why Are People Dressing Up Like Guy Fieri?

It is all part of Buffalo’s only Guy Fieri themed bar crawl. You may remember last year, FieriCon took over Buffalo and it was to benefit Feedmore WNY. 

This year, the event is free to participate, with any proceeds raised going towards the nonprofit. Since it is free, you do not need tickets, registration, or wrist bands. 

How Do You Participate In Buffalo FieriCon?

Get a group of your friends, family, and even your fur-friends and dress up like Guy Fieri! Show up on Hertel Avenue on Saturday, July 22 to enjoy drinks, food, and a funGuy time. ;)
