Have You Seen Thurman Thomas’ Latest Commercial?

You're used to Thurman talking about is restaurant at Batavia Downs so when he popped up on TV the other day at New Era Field one probably thought it was for the Bills or his restaurant. And then you heard,

"When I played football for the Buffalo Bills nothing stopped me...except tollbooths!"

That's when the double take happened to make sure it was in fact Thurman Thomas talking about cashless tolls! It was.

In a brilliant move by the NYS Thruway Authority, they teamed up with Thurman to get the word out about the Cashless Tolls beginning on the Grand Island Bridges at the end of the month. I mean, I finished the whole commercial and then immediately told everyone I saw, "Have you seen the new Thurman commercial?"  The new cashless tolls will begin later this month and then...well, let's let Thurman tell you!

Love it. So simple and yet very effective. Maybe some people didn't even notice but I thought it was brilliant.
