Veterans Day is this Saturday, November 11th, but is also being observed as a Federal Holiday on Friday the 10th. Many businesses including restaurants offer special deals and discounts to veterans on these days. Websites like MilitaryBenefits keeps a running tab on all places that offer deals but here is a summary of some in the WNY area.

Please call ahead to all locations before going to make sure their location is participating in these deals and discounts.

$10 tickets for Veterans, Active Duty and Reservists over Veterans Day Weekend 2017.

Byrncliff Golf Resorts & Banquets – Varysburg, NY
Free brunch on Sunday November 12th from 10 am to 1 pm.

Corning Museum of Glass – Corning, NY
All military veterans will receive free admission through the month of November. All others in the veteran’s party are welcome to enjoy 15% off of their regularly-priced admission.

Mattress Firm: For the first time ever, now through November 12th, Veterans will receive 25% off at all WNY Mattress Firms. Any other day of the year they give Veterans 10% off.

Target: Now through Saturday, November 11, veterans, active military personnel, and their families can get 10% off everything at Target. The special offer  requires that you register for a coupon that can be used once by Saturday. The discount applies to your entire purchase, but there are some exclusions.

Toys R Us: Customers with valid military ID get 15% off in-store purchases at Toys R Us and Babies R Us, now through November 11. Exclusions to apply.

Cabela’s: Verified members of the armed services get 5% off at Cabela’s year-round, and they’ll get an extra 5% discount for eligible purchases on November 9-12.

TOPS Market: Veterans and active military get 11% off their total purchase on Saturday, with some exclusions—including fuel, pharmacy items, gift cards, alcohol, and tobacco.

Dollar General: Veterans, active military, and their immediate families receive 11% off eligible purchases on Saturday. Show ID in store, or enter the promotional code VET17 online, to get the discount.

Walgreens: Show military ID and a Walgreens rewards card and you’ll get 20% off regular-priced items on Saturday There are some exclusions.

TOMS: Verified members of the armed services can get 15% off regular-priced purchases at TOMS, now through November 15.
