Downtown Buffalo has undergone drastic changes over the past 10-15 years.

There are many more restaurants, bars and things to do in the city than back in the mid-to-late 2000's. From the Old First Ward to the heart of downtown, Buffalo is becoming a place people want to visit, vs. an area people overlook.

The bars and restaurants you can find now are unmatched. It's truly great to see the influx of amazing restaurants and bars we now have in Buffalo, and to be honest, the demand has gotten so high that we need more places.

If you love craft beer, hot dogs and are a huge dog person, get ready for something that will change the downtown landscape.

Buffalo Business First reports that the country's largest indoor dog park and beer garden will soon be coming to downtown Buffalo.

Hounds & Hops opened last month at the Seneca One tower in the City of Buffalo. The reception has been so overwhelming that now the owners are developing what will be the United States' largest indoor dog park and beer garden concept.

30,000 square feet of the lower level at Seneca One will be revamped and turned into a beer garden/lounge, a build-your-own hot dog bar, as well as a "dog's paradise" with a full playground and a whole lot more.

32 beers will be on tap for Hounds & Hops and this project will for sure bring tons of dog owners to downtown.

That's not all. Plans also call for a 5,000-square-feet outdoor dog park, that leads right to Canalside.

The beer garden should be ready by the first quarter of 2024 (January-March), with the entire indoor project completed by the end of 2024.

This sounds amazing. This will be the spot for dog and beer lovers all around Western New York.
