Jeopardy! Host Alex Trebek Injured Chasing Burglar!

I had to share this... Jeopardy! game show host Alex Trebek is on crutches after chasing a burglar down a hallway in a hotel in San Francisco hotel at 2:30 on Wednesday.

A woman entered the room that Trebek was staying in at the hotel and stole some items including a bracelet from Trebek's mother and some cash among some other items. Trebek age 71, obviously was awakened by the ordeal chased the woman in the hotel as she tried to get away with the items, however Trebek got injured and is in crutches apparently for six weeks after he has surgery on Friday for his snapped achilles tendon.

The woman that Trebek was chasing through the hotel was arrested and charged with felony burglary and possession of stolen property. Glad to hear that Alex Trebek is okay and I hope to see him soon with new episodes on Jeopardy, my favorite tv game show!
