Now that the first snow has fallen, it's now appropriate to start watching the movies you've been waiting all year to watch...or at least admit to watching them.

Here are my top 3 must-see movies for Christmas!

1. "A Christmas Story"

I think this might be a family tradition in everyone's family, whether they want it or not, because of the 24-hour marathon on TBS every year. The story of one little boy's quest to get a "Red Rider BB Gun" in the 1940s is amazing! It's even more special for me because parts of it were filmed in Cleveland, and you can even visit the house they used! (Fun Fact: The dad of a high school soccer teammate was one of the burglars that Ralphie shot at.) I sometimes wonder if anyone actually owns this video because it's always playing when you need it! AND before DVRs, I wondered if anyone had actually seen the beginning of the movie?!

2. "ELF"

I think this is the best Will Ferrell movie out there! Yes, I know "Anchorman" is awesome, but sorry, "Elf" is better. The fact that my grandmother, father and mother ALL laugh at the movie and are willing to watch it says something! The cast alone is amazing, and the one-liners from the movie are great...you even get a song! This is a movie that I'll put on at any time of the year and watch (don't you judge me!).

Bonus: Peter Billingsworth (Ralphie from "A Christmas Story") makes a cameo in the movie!

3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

By now you can tell my taste in Christmas movies. The classics are great, but these are the ones that keep me coming back! You can't beat Chevy and his "Lampoon" family...they hit the nail on the head with family experiences at the holidays!

Bonus Must-Sees

Any horrible Hallmark or Lifetime Christmas movie. They've already started!!! Each one is just as predictable and cheesy as the next, and yet, I'll waste a whole Sunday watching them.

What are your must-see movies for Christmas?

(Side note: I wanted to add "A Charlie Brown Christmas", but Dale told me it didn't count because it's TV!)
