Miranda Lambert’s Latest A Personal Song For Blake

Miranda Lambert's new single "Over You", like many of Miranda Lambert's singles, isn't your typical love song.  This one is a little more of a personal song for her husband Blake Shelton.

When Blake was just in his teens in 1991 he lost his 24 year old brother in a car accident.  So Blake and Miranda penned this one together. 

But if it's about Blake and his brother, why didn't he record it?

"I asked him a year ago, 'Do you want this song? It's obviously about your life.' And he said he'd rather me have it, mainly because he wasn't sure he could get through it every night onstage."

"Over You" is currently the reigning champ on The Friday Night Fight.  Check it out tomorrow night at 8pm as it goes up against another brand new song.
