New York State Park Police Recover Body in Gorge Yesterday in Niagara Falls

Yesterday, a hiker called the State Park Police when he thought he saw a body floating in the lower Niagara River by the whirlpool.

The Rescue Team found the body in the rapids and was picked up by an Erie County Helicopter where it was taken to the medical examiners office where they are trying to determine how the person died.
