Puppy in Hamburg Gets Credit for Saving Owner in House Fire

This is your feel good story for the day! One German Sheppard puppy, Sophia, is getting the credit for saving her owner's life! A major fire broke out at Kathie Hefkta's home on Chapel Glen Drive. Kathie explained how it all went down:

She was downstairs in my family room in her crate and when she started crying, she did something unusual. She started banging her crate. She's never done that before. And I ran out of bed. I put some slacks on and ran out of my bedroom. At the front door I saw flames at the front door. There was no smoke in the house until the second time we ran down and that's when we came backup we started to see the smoke," Heftka said, "And my smoke alarm went off but we were out of the house before there was really any smoke in the house", according to Channel 2.
