Reba’s New Sitcom Picked Up By ABC

After rumors that she was dead, Reba’s sitcom career has come back to life with help of ABC.  According to Deadline Hollywood,  the sitcom ‘Malibu Country’ will star Reba as woman who divorces her good ole boy rock star husband after cheats on her and spends most of their money leaving her with only one asset, a little house in Malibu.  The sitcom will focus on this woman and her three kids who have been corrupted by a materialistic lifestyle.  There a few similarities to her WB show ‘Reba’ but producer’s from the new show say it will be a different spin on the newly divorced single woman parent.  Executive producers on the show include Reba, her husband Narvel Blackstock and Dave Stewart formerly of the pop band the Eurythmics.
