Rite Aid Abruptly Closing More Locations New York States

There are more New York State Rite Aids closing soon.

Over the past couple of years, Rite Aid has had some massive financial trouble, and part of their bankruptcy deal is that they are shutting down tons of stores. In 2024, they expect to shut down 154 stores.

Brooklyn: 249 7th Ave.

Buffalo: 2474 Bailey Ave
Buffalo: 47 Niagara St.
Elmira: 119 West 2nd St.
Hartsdale: 196 East Hartsdale Ave.
Le Roy: 151 West Main St.
Mount Vernon: 47 East Prospect Ave.
Poughkeepsie: 40 Vassar Road

Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) will close the store at 47 Niagara St. in the city of Tonawanda next month. The pharmacy's last day will be May 14 and the front-end's last day will be May 19, according to a company spokesperson", according to WGRZ.

When some of the local Rite Aids were closing you could find some amazing deals. As the days got closer to the permanent closing day, the discounts became more significant. Eventually, clearance prices were to 90% off.
