So much for an undefeated season for the Buffalo Bills.  Even with all the weaknesses that the Buffalo Bills have, somehow they found a way to beat the Bears and Dolphins in their first two games, but on Sunday the San Diego Chargers exposed all of those shortcomings in beating the Bills 22-10.

The Bills are weak at cornerback and the Chargers tagged Leodis McKelvin and Stephon Gilmore for huge plays. And quarterback E J Manuel was back to making bad decisions with the football, overthrowing, underthrowing or just flat out missing open receivers.  The Chargers sacked him 3 times and forced him into a safety when he grounded the ball from the end zone.  He finished 23 of 39 for 238 yards.

The Chargers defense also dominated the line of scrimmage, allowing the Bills only 87 yards rushing.

Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers had a big day completing 18 of 25 for 256 yards and a pair of touchdowns.  He was sacked just once while somehow avoiding several others.  The Bills Manny Lawson says it's something they have to learn from -

Freddy Jackson scored the Bills lone touchdown on an 11-yard pass from Manuel.  Jackson finished with 10 catches for 78 yards.  He says it's one game and they have to move on -

Penalties were a huge problem for the Bills.  They were hit with 11 for 101 yards and many of them were at crucial times.  Coach Doug Marrone says they can all take the blame for the loss -

The Bills fall to 2-1 and travel to Houston next week.
