Survivor ‘South Pacific’ Cast Announced

You know that it's getting close to fall when TV shows start to brag about their incredible fall lineup.  The cast was announced for the most recent edition of 'Dancing With The Stars' earlier this week and now we know who the 16 contestants will be for this season of 'Survivor'.  One of them just happens to be a country singer.

One of the standouts for me this season is the 5th place finisher from the 5th season of 'Nashville Star'.  Her name is  Whitney Duncan and according to Entertainment Weekly , she says she's not afraid to have her life put in front of the camera again.

 ''I'm an open book. I always speak my mind. My fans know me already. They know my personality. This is a game, so there probably will be some characteristics that have to come out that aren't necessarily awesome. I mean, you take food away from me for a couple of weeks and there is no telling what I'll say or do, honestly.''

Other castmembers that tend to stick out a bit are Brandon Hantz (nephew of former Survivor finalist/villain Russell Hantz),  a Lingerie Football Player, and Miss Washington 2007.
