Carrie Underwood will appear as herself along with crooner Tony Bennett on the second season premiere of the CBS TV drama ‘Blue Bloods’.  Carrie and Tony will sing together as themselves during a fundraiser scene on the show September 23.

Sources for the Hollywood Reporter have confirmed that funnyman Ashton Kutcher will replace Charlie Sheen on 'Two and a Half Men' next season. Though reps for CBS, studio Warner Bros. and Kutcher declined to comment, sources claim the deal is "all but signed." Kutcher also posted a coy tweet late Thursday night, asking, "What's the square root of 6.25?"

Miranda Lambert is just one of the huge acts on the upcoming "Girls Night Out: Superstar Women of Country Music" special that is coming up on Friday April 22nd on CBS.  In a backstage interview with the star, she admitted that parts of the show almost made her cry.

The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards is this Sunday night on CBS  and the big award is a fan voted category, “Entertainer of the year”.  Here’s something I’ve never seen before,  Brad Paisley  is offering an incentive to get his fans to vote for him.  Those who vote for Brad online can get a free download of one of his live songs and are also entered to win an iPod.  Really?

I really was never a fan of “Two and a Half Men” it’s a bit juvenile for my taste but at first I was kind of on Charlie Sheen’s side regarding his job.  To me if he shows up for work and does his job well he should be able to keep his job.

Two more country stars have been added as presenters at the Grammy Awards.  Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton have signed on to present trophies.  Dierks is nominated for his Up on the Ridge album with 3 nominations and Blake got a nod for Best Country Collaboration for his duet with Trace Adkins “Hillbilly Bone”.

Miranda Lambert comes up big for the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.  She has been nominated for a total of 7 awards, including Top Female Vocalist, Single & Song of the Year for “The House That Built Me”.  She has also been nominated for the grand daddy award, her first for Entertainer of the Year.
