All five artists nominated for CMA Entertainer of the Year are included in the shows line up. Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban will all perform during the 45th annual awards.

August 30, 2011 Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles has been asked to host the CMA country Christmas special for a second year. The two hour show will be taped on November 10th which is the day after the CMA Awards and will air on ABC during the holidays. I watched the special last year and thought Jennifer did a great job hosting. Word is she is pleased to have been asked back to host once again.

January 20, 2011 Jason Aldean will kick off his “My Kinda Party” tour this weekend and show insiders leaked some cool news from the tour front. There will be a high-tech set and for the new single “Don’t You Wanna Stay”, Jason’s duet with Kelly Clarkson it’s a virtual appearance, “It’s almost like she’s live via satellite, she can’t be there every night, so we had to do something to make her part of the show”, says Jason.
