March 20, 2012 So it's official now. We've been waiting a couple weeks now to see where he would choose and finally it's over. Peyton Manning is a Denver Bronco. I didn't guess it. I would have guessed that he would have gone to Tenessee to be back in his home state. But to be honest, for a 96 million dollar contract, I would go pretty much anywhere.
February 9, 2012 This year, Rascal Flatts got to meet Tim Tebow when they sang the National Anthem before the Denver Broncos took on the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Broncos went on to win that game and Tim Tebow told the guys that he's their biggest fan. After seeing a recent picture on Twitter of the guys at a recent Meet & Greet, I'm not sure who's a bigger fan of who!
Being a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, I know all about what it feels like to be an underdog. And because I know that feeling so well, I always have a tendency to root for the underdog. In yesterday's Broncos/Steelers NFL Wildcard playoff game, it was Denver that was the clear underdog. Their record of 8 and 8 was just a wee bit better than our own Buffalo Bills.
January 9, 2012 I don't like drama, and with Tebow and the Broncos, this season has had more drama than I can handle. Everyone knows who Tebow is and for months he has been the talk of the nation. Many topics regarding Tebow have been talked about including his religious beliefs, his personal life, his college career plus his leadership skills and lack of football skills. Most fans including myself believe that Tebow is not a franchise quarterback and does not have the football skills to be a long term successful quarterback in the NFL. I will admit his however that what Tim Tebow has accomplished this season since being named the starting quarterback for the Broncos is interesting.
December 24, 2011 The Bills closed out their home schedule with a game that looked a lot like the ones they started the season with. The Bills finally ending a 7-game losing streak with a 40 -14 win over the Denver Broncos intercepting quarterback Tim Tebow four times, returning two of them for touchdowns. Jairus Byrd and Spencer Johnson scored on consecutive pick offs 18 seconds apart in the fourth quarter. Chris Kelsay had a big day with two sacks and nine tackles to lead the defense.
December 19, 2011 If you've ever heard of Tim Tebow (which you probably have) you may know that he's a very religious man. He puts his faith before everything he does and isn't afraid to give thanks to God for all of his success. Recently, he's had a lot with the Denver Broncos. So of course if it's in the news, Saturday Night Live does a great job of making fun of it.
August 21, 2011 For the second straight week the Buffalo Bills opened the scoring with a Rian Lindell field goal at the end of a nice game opening drive, but the offense sputtered from there. Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos built a 14-3 second quarter lead on a touchdown run and touchdown reception by former Bill running back Willis McGahee and the Bills never threatened after that in a 24-10 Broncos win.
