It's about to get a little more expensive here in Western New York and across the country to drive as gas prices are expected to go up.

It's good and bad news, but bottom line is that prices are going up!

I just filled up the tank this morning and paid $3.95 per gallon, but they say that gas prices are dropping. Sure the prices will drop, then they creep up on ya, drop again, then....go way the heck up again.

New York State gas prices are 30 cents a gallon higher than the national average, so Gov. Andrew Cuomo has set up a gas price complaint hotline.

It’s become so common for gas prices to be close to $4 bucks a gallon that I barely notice anymore.  This morning though when I filled up I did notice the price has dipped a bit.  The price of gas in Western New York has dropped about two cents since last week.

Every time I’m at the pump filling up the tank I’m reminded that gas will never be cheap.  And here in Western New York prices are higher than the average.  This morning the cost had risen by about five cents.

We’ve all been fed up with paying over 4 bucks a gallon at the pump right? It’s been ridiculous and so common place as of late that I barely noticed that the price at the pump had fallen to under 4 bucks a gallon.  I went to fill up at Sunoco on Saturday and was surprised to see $3.97 on the sign for regular unleaded.

Gas prices range from $3.82 at Steve Hall Automotive on Bailey Avenue in Buffalo to $4.03 at the Getty station on Seneca and Juniata Place in Buffalo.

If you need gas in your car you'd better get it now! Gasbuddy.com is reporting that prices at the pump could increase by as much as 30 cents by this weekend.

With gas prices the way they are I will take any advice when it comes to saving and experts say something as simple as cleaning your car and your trunk can help with your gas mileage .  Depending on the specific model, your car loses 1-2% fuel efficiency for every 100 pounds of extra weight inside the car or trunk.  I’m forever leaving things in my car trunk

If it seems like it’s costing more and more to fill up your gas tank, it’s not just your imagination. On average, a gallon of fuel costs 22 cents more than it did at this time last year. Worse yet, experts think it’ll climb higher still.
